William Ronald Jones

William Ronald Jones, 83, of Bardstown, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Baptist Hardin.  He was born January 10, 1942 in Mt. Gilean, KY.  He retired from Navistar, a Navy Veteran, Kentucky Colonel, Mason, The American Legion, The Grand Lodge of Kentucky F.& A.M., a private pilot and a certified scuba diver.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. William Sterling Jones and Rev. Mildred Cathern Jones; daughter, Rhonda Gail Jones; and a brother, Sterling Jones Jr.

He is survived by Connie Allen wife of 30 years and the mother of his children; daughters, Bralinda Jones (Victor) Farris, Tonia Sue Jones (David) Nye and guardian daughter, Rebecca Wilson; grandchildren, William Michael Farris, Amy Gayle Krausen, Stephen Nye, Rhonda Long and Sonya Fox; great-grandchildren, Sean Michael Farris, Lukas Nye, Penny Nye, Karly Nye, Alivia Krausen, Isaac Krausen, Rebecca Hudson, Victoria Kendall, Kevin Michael Helvey; several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Anna Kathryn Vickers; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in The New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.  Pastor Ed Lainhart will officiate.  Visitation will be 10 A.M. till 12 P.M. at Barlow Funeral Home.
