William "Mr. Bill" E. Lewis Jr.

William “Mr. Bill” E. Lewis Jr., 79, of Bardstown passed away Thursday December 30, 2021 at Life Care of Bardstown. He was born November 8, 1942 in Frankfort, and enjoyed playing trumpet, writing in his journal at Talbott Tavern, and being on the farm.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Lewis Sr. and Shirley Lewis; fiancée, Ellen Keeling; and best friend, Tommy Keeling.

He is survived by his granddaughter, Shawnda (Archie) Ballard; four great-grandchildren, Willa Lambdin and Daxton Lambdin, and Braylee Ballard and Waylon Ballard; step-mother, Betty Lewis; and cousin, Barbara Hockensmith.

His memorial service will be 12 pm Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Woodlawn United Methodist Church. Pastor Jerry Pile will officiate. Visitation will be 10 am to 12 pm Saturday January 15 at Woodlawn United Methodist Church.
