Wayne Fulkerson

Wayne Fulkerson, 56, of Cox’s Creek, passed away Thursday August 6, 2020 at Flaget Memorial Hospital.  He was born March 31, 1964 in Nelson County, a farmer, and a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Joy Fulkerson; and three brothers, Benny, Amos, and Joe Fulkerson.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Patti French Fulkerson of Cox’s Creek; six sons, Jesse (Shannon) French, Travis Goldsmith, Will Fulkerson, Eric Fulkerson, Jeffrey Fulkerson, and Kevin Fulkerson; several grandchildren; fourteen siblings who he loved dearly; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday August 10, 2020 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in New Salem Baptist Cemetery.  Pastor Jonathan Gann will officiate.  Visitation will be 12 – 6 pm Sunday August 9 and 9 – 11 am Monday August 10 at Barlow Funeral Home.
