Tracey Sims Chesser, 46, of Bardstown, passed away Thursday January 9, 2025 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville. She was born December 7, 1978 in Louisville, an attorney for Chesser Law Office, graduate of Bethlehem High School, University of Kentucky, and Thomas Cooley Law School, an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, and daughter-in-law, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joe and Louise Rapier; paternal grandparents, M. A. and Christine Sims; loving aunt, Ann Waddell; and Jeremy's mother, Janet Hudson Chesser.
She is survived by her husband, Jeremy Chesser; two children, Sydney Marie Chesser, and Ethan James Chesser; parents, Millard and Linda Sims all of Bardstown; brother, Joey (Kymberly) Sims of Louisville; father and mother-in-law, Larry and Tammy Chesser of Willisburg; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Thursday January 16, 2025 at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. J. Randall Hubbard will officiate. Visitation will be 2 - 8 pm Wednesday January 15 and 9 - 10:15 am Thursday January 16 at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held 5:30 pm Wednesday evening.
Memorial contributions may go to Juvenile Diabetes, Bethlehem High School, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
