Theresa "Teri" Yates Walker

Theresa "Teri" Yates Walker, 65, of Bardstown, passed away Thursday January 18, 2024 at her residence.  She was born April 12, 1958 in Bardstown to Frank and Lucille Yates.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant sister, Wanda Smith; and brother, Leon Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Jade (Darnell) Ballard; grandson, Waylon Williams; nine sisters, Linda (Marion) Bishoff, Jackie (Mike) Bishop, Jo (Gary) Yates, Juel (Jerry) Grace, Sue (Tom) Jones all of Bardstown, Kathy (Kenny) Kays of Fredericktown, Marie (Randy) Bowman of Lebanon, Diane (Gus) Armani of Clear Water, Florida, and Shirley Tacey of Bay City, Michigan; three brothers, Frankie (Janice) Yates of Bardstown, Johnny (Sharon) Yates of Fredericktown, and Tommy Yates of Bardstown; three aunts, Barbara Carter, Jean Clark, and Ardella Bowman all of Bardstown; many nieces and nephews; and additionally, Teri leaves her very special and beloved friend, Sabastian Gonzalez to love and cherish her memory.

Her memorial service will be 2:00 pm Saturday January 27, 2024 at Barlow Funeral Home.  Rev. Ray Johnson will officiate.  Visitation will be 11 am - 2 pm Saturday January 27 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to donor's favorite charity.
