Roy Lee Lewis

Roy Lee Lewis, 87, of Bardstown, passed away Monday March 17, 2025 at Flaget Memorial Hospital.  He was born December 24, 1937 in Maud, and a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rose Mary Lewis; parents, John R. "Buck" and Gladys Hughes Lewis; two brothers, John Frank Lewis and Jackie Lewis; and sister, Clara Louise Lewis.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rose Marie Lewis of Bardstown; three children, Charles (Patricia) Lewis of Louisville, Linda Lewis of Lexington, and Bonnie Lewis of Bardstown; one grandson, Zachary (Megan) Lewis of Louisville; four sisters, Mary Catherine Lewis, Minnie Lewis, Carrie Lewis all of Bardstown, and Betty Squires of Louisville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 12:00 pm Monday March 24, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Pastor Carolyn Thompson will officiate.  Visitation will be 10 - 12 pm Monday March 24, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home.
