Ronnie Boone

Ronnie Boone, 74, of Cox's Creek, passed away Thursday March 6, 2025 at Norton Audubon Hospital. He was born September 2, 1950 in Lebanon. He was a retired optical lens worker, and loved fishing, hunting and gardening. He was a member of St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, and regularly attended First Christian Church (DOC). 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Geneva Boone; and one brother, Danny Boone. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Ina Ruth Boone; two sons, Jimmy Boone, both of Cox's Creek, and Nick (Kristen) Boone, of New Albany; one grandson, Jude Alpha; and several nieces and nephews. 

His memorial service will be 1 pm, Saturday, April 26, 2025 at First Christian Church (DOC) with Jim and Jackie Summers officiating. Visitation will be 11 am - 1 pm Saturday April 26, at First Christian Church (DOC). 

Memorial contributions may go towards WHAS Crusade for Children.
