Ricky L. Hobbs

Ricky L. Hobbs, 66, of New Haven, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at his home. He was born October 5, 1959. He was a truck driver and worked for IMI and Southern States for many years. He enjoyed hobby farming. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Doris Hobbs; sister, Renee Brown; and daughter, Brandy Hobbs.

He was survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Denise Hobbs, of New Haven; two sons, Travis Hobbs, of New Haven, and Zach (Kristi) Hobbs, of Cox's Creek; eight grandchildren, Trey (Shelby) Radcliffe, Hunter, Jeremiah, Faith, Grace and Bryce Hobbs, and J.R. and Josie Hobbs; one sister, Radonna (Steve) Bartley; and one brother, Ronnie (Lauren) Hobbs; and several nieces and nephews. 

His Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Friday, June 5, 2026 at St. Thomas Catholic Church with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 3 pm - 8 pm Thursday, June 4, 2026 and 8 am - 9:15 am Friday June 5, 2026 at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7 pm Thursday evening.
