Richard "Rick" Molyneaux, 73, of Bardstown, passed away, Thursday, April 24, 2025 at U of L Hospital. He was born September 15, 1951 in Bardstown.
He was owner and broker of KY Home Realty. He served on many boards including; Board of Realtors in Louisville, OKH Board of Realtors, and the Board of Adjustments for the city of Bardstown. He had a love for golf that began in high school, and led to him winning the Bourbon Open in 1987. He was a graduating member of Bardstown High School class of 1969.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Yale Molyneaux; mother, Grace Hamilton Molyneaux Svihovec; and sisters, Sara Katherine Molyneaux and Betty Molyneaux Carothers.
He is survived by his two sons, Hamilton Molyneaux and Nicholson Molyneaux both of Bardstown; mother of his children, Donna Molyneaux of Bardstown; brother, Charles (Joni) Molyneaux of Bonneau, SC; sister, Julie (Guthrie) Wilson of Bardstown; nieces and nephews, Jean Paul (Katrina) Molyneaux of Cary, NC, Karli (Grant) Cox of Prospect, Ellen (Rich) Zutterman of Bardstown, Nancy Brown of Bardstown, Judge (Jessica) Carothers of Louisville, and Kate (Mitch) Smith of Bardstown; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Carothers.
His graveside service will be 11:30 am Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Bardstown Cemetery. Immediately following the burial will be a Celebration of Life at My Old Kentucky Home Country Club from 12 pm to 2 pm, everyone is welcome.
