Richard Downs

Richard Downs, 40, of New Haven passed away Monday, June 17, 2024 at his residence.  He was born on October 24, 1983 in Louisville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Marion "Turtle" Downs and his sister, Denise Ebersold.

He is survived by his daughter, Piper Kinley Newton; mother, Louise Downs; a brother, David (Cheryl) Downs; five sisters, Karen (Mike) Taylor, Susan Ratliff, Laura (Todd) Durbin, Carlene (Bryan) Downs and Tonya Kays; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

His prayer service will be at 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Barlow Funeral Home with Deacon Steve Heil doing prayers.  Visitation will be 5 till 8 P.M. Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Barlow Funeral Home.  Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery.
