Pat Carey

Pat Carey, 67 of Bardstown passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at his residence.  He was born March 17, 1954 in Nelson County, owner of Carey Electric and a Kentucky Colonel. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, James William and Dorothy Mae Hagan Carey.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Mary Linda Carey of Bardstown; daughter, Amy Carey of Bardstown; two brothers, William Kenneth Carey and Louis Daniel Carey both of Bardstown; four sisters, Maryann Waldridge of Morgantown, Donna May (Jim) Snellen, Joyce (Doug) Wallingford and Nora Carey all of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be at 9:00 A.M. Friday, January 21, 2022 at Barlow Funeral Home.  Burial at St. Thomas at a later date.  Rev. Jason Harris will do the prayer service.  Visitation will be from 9 A.M. till 1 P.M. at Barlow Funeral Home.  Cremation will be after the service and visitation.

Memorial contributions will go to the American Diabetes Association and Wounded Warriors Project.
