Naomi Bernice Linton, 62 of Louisville, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Baptist Health. She was born on January 29, 1963 in Bardstown. Naomi was a member of First Baptist Church and "Just Because Club". She was a graduate of Bardstown High School and loved the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Mary Catherine Tonge; and her brothers and sisters, Delores Ann Yocum, James Melody Greathouse Sr., Janice Louise Phillips, Joanna Marie Tonge, Wallace Leon "Gator" Tonge Jr. and Robert Nathaniel Tonge.
She is survived by her daughter, LaVonda "Nicky" Randle of Louisville; a son, Joseph Linton Jr. (Crystal) of Lexington; five grandchildren, Christion Linton, Landon Edwards, Jordan Linton, Kenadie Linton and Bryce Randle; brothers sisters, Ella (Thomas) Smalley, William (Clara) Tonge, Denise Faye Tonge and Michael Wayne Tonge; and host of nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at First Baptist Church with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Bro. Randy Phillips will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Monday and 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Tuesday all at First Baptist Church.
