Nancy Morgan Bean, 89, of Cox's Creek, passed away Wednesday November 19, 2025 at Baptist Health Hospital in Elizabethtown. She was born February 9, 1936 in Williamstown, Kentucky, retired owner of PFS Sales and Marketing, loved her animals, especially her dogs, laying out by her pool, and being with her family and friends. She was a member of Cox's Station D.A.R., Eastern Star, American and Kentucky School Food Service, and Bardstown Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Colonel James E. Bean; and parents, D. B. and Helen Morgan.
She is survived by her son, Brett Ellis (Paula) Bean of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; two daughters, Ann Bean (Danny) Smith, and Lynn Bean (Christina) Marchese both of Bardstown; six grandchildren, Jamie Redmon, Danny (Jennifer) Smith Jr., Tyler (Daire) Marchese, Regan Marchese, Kim (Ginny) Nobles, and Rachelle Irvin; six great-grandchildren, Kai Ellis Redmon, J. T. Blaine, Dalton Blaine, Everett, Hayleigh, and Mia; sister, Jayne Arnold of Frankfort, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday November 24, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in New Salem Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 - 5 pm Sunday November 23, 2025 and 9 - 11 am Monday November 24, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may go to Humane Society of Nelson County.
