Monica Lynn Litsey

Monica Lynn Litsey, 43, of Louisville, formerly of Bardstown, passed away Wednesday December 15, 2021 at Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She was born April 5, 1978 in Bardstown, enjoyed bingo, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Bardstown.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward “Eddie” Litsey; and brother, Randy Litsey.

She is survived by her son, D’ Anthony Litsey of Louisville; daughter, Takeyona Robinson of Louisville; grandchild, Londyn Litsey; mother, Barbara Litsey of Louisville; and siblings, Carlos (April) Litsey of Lebanon, Tracy Litsey, Jessica Litsey both of Jeffersonville, IN, James Poynter of Cincinnati, Sondra Poynter, Becky Poynter, Darnell Poynter, Lavanda Poynter all of Bardstown, and Anquinette Yarbrough of Louisville, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be 12 pm Monday December 20, 2021 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 am to 12 pm Monday December 20 at Barlow Funeral Home.
