Michael L. Forbes

Michael L. Forbes, 53, of Lebanon Junction, passed away Tuesday May 13, 2025 at his residence.  He was born August 13, 1971 in Dearborn, Michigan, a Master Mason, and United States Army Veteran.

He was the middle child of the late George Forbes Sr, and the late Victoria Spence.  Michael married the love of his life, Katherine Forbes on July 4, 2017.  With this union, they created a beautiful life in Lebanon Junction, KY and have had a long life of love.

Michael was welcomed into Heaven by his father, George Forbes Sr.; his mother, Victoria Spence; son, Austin Forbes; and nephew, Avery (his wingman).

Michael is survived by his wife, Katherine Forbes; three children, Ieasha Johnson, Andrea Barzee, and Caleb Forbes; his three bonus children, Tiffany Stebbins (Branden Stebbins), Ashley O'Bryan, and Kortney Hanning; his grandchildren, Miles Davis, John Wininger, Michael Hanning, Valerie Hanning, Maddie Vincent, and many more grandchildren; two siblings, George Forbes Jr. (Kimberly Forbes), and Taryn Forbes (Todd); three nieces and nephews, Victoria Priddy (Joshua Priddy), Brianna Ash, Hunter Forbes; along with a plethora of close friends.

His memorial service will be 1:00 pm Saturday May 24, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home.  Brother Ray Johnson will officiate.  Visitation will be 11 am - 1 pm Saturday May 24 at Barlow Funeral Home.
