Mary Catherine Linton Obituary

Mary Catherine Downs Linton, 93, of Bardstown, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Baptist Hardin. She was born on March 9, 1927 in Bardstown. She was a self-employed seamstress and homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and love all of her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Linton; granddaughter, Britney Marie Wiser; sister, Martha Downs Donahue; and two brothers, J.L. Downs and Leo Downs.

She is survived by her three children, Charles Ronnie Linton, Cathy Ann Adams, and Susan Marie Downs all of Bardstown; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Downs; a niece and several nephews.

Funeral service for Mary Catherine Downs Linton will be private with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Jim Graf will officiate.
