Margaret "Peggy" Maddox

Margaret "Peggy" Maddox, 66, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday May 2, 2026 at her residence.  She was born January 6, 1960 in Bloomfield, a registered nurse for Flaget Memorial Hospital for 18 plus years, a loving wife, momma, Ganny, sister, and friend to many, loved planting flowers, crossword puzzles, University of Kentucky and University of Louisville sports, and a member of First Baptist Church of Bloomfield.

She was preceded in death by her mom, Elise Beeler; grandson, Ro'Zarion "Fifty" Mason; brother, Dwight Wells; and aunt, Louise Beeler.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert Maddox; daughter, Jeanne Maddox; son, Robert Maddox Jr.; granddaughter, Vantaia Miller; brother, Gil Maddox; sister, Jackie Beeler; special daughter, Danyell Conner; special friend, Lucy Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Her funeral service will be 12:00 pm Thursday May 7, 2026 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.  Rev. Randy Phillips will officiate.  Visitation will be 10 am - 12 pm Thursday May 7, 2026 at Barlow Funeral Home.
