Lt. Col. Phyllis "Jo" Carter

Lt. Col. Phyllis "Jo" Carter, 94 of Bardstown (Cooper Trail), passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Cooper Trail.  She was born on April 16, 1929 in Lafayette, Indiana.  She was a nurse for the United States Air Force, she loved her dogs and her Flag.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Lottie Carter and several siblings.

She is survived by her friend, Donna Gerber and many friends at Cooper Trail and Nazareth.

Her visitation is from 10 A.M. till 11 A.M. Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Barlow Funeral Home with a graveside service after visitation at Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Cemetery.
