Linda Wells

Linda Wells, 76 of Bardstown passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at her residence.  She was born on May 5, 1945 in Lexington.  Linda was the Director of the United Way, a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church and had various rolls there, former Nelson County bus driver, an activity director at Federal Hill Nursing Home, a member of the Homemakers, the Kentucky State Homemakers and served on the National Homemakers, and served on Planning and Zoning.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Wells; parents, Henry and Margaret Louise Carroll; and sister-in-law, Joan H. Carroll.

She is survived by her son, Jeff (Connie) Wells; daughter, Angela Wells (Kelly) Dickerson both of Bardstown; four grandchildren, Brandon Wayne Wells, Kyle Grant Wells, Grace Kelli Dickerson and Ryan Wells Dickerson; brother, William Carroll; nephew, Martin Carroll both of Nicholasville; and her caretakers, Shirley Carter, Mary Wheatley and Amber Wheatley.

Her funeral will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 31, 2021 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Mill Creek Baptist Cemetery.  Bro. Tommy Valentine will officiate and Bro. Ray Johnson will assist.  Visitation will be from 3 till 8 P.M. Thursday, December 30, 2021 and 9 till 11 A.M. Friday, December 31, 2021 at Barlow Funeral Home.
