Juanita "Faye" Brown, 72, of Mt. Washington, passed away June 14, 2025 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She was born on October 1, 1952 in Bardstown. Faye attended Vine Hill Baptist Church, she loved her family, Panama Beach, decorating, and had a great sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Wayne "Hotdog" Durbin; mother, Eunice Mae Spalding; father, James Wallace Spalding; and her sister, Margaret Spalding
She is survived by her husband, Donald "Donnie" Brown; son: Chris Durbin (Debbie); daughter, Missy Durbin (Jonathan): eight grandchildren, Brenden Rodgers, Emily Durbin, Alieta Farnsworth, Evan Durbin, Bailey Durbin, Ella Durbin, Addee Durbin and Ava Durbin; daughter-in-law, Amy Durbin Catlett; three sisters, Dorothy Pugh (Buddy), Linda Williams (Jimmy), and Darlene Jury (Stevie); three half-brothers: Jim Spalding, Larry Beckley, and Mike Smith and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in New Salem Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Greg Crenshaw will be officiating. Visitation will be 3 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, June 18, 2025 and 9 to 11 A.M. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home.
