Joyce Pope

Joyce Pope, 74, of Bardstown, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at her home. She was born June 14, 1950 in Lebanon. 

She enjoyed camping, boating, gardening, and spending time with family living the simple life. She dearly loved her grand-furbabies. She was Catholic by faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bosley Pope; parents, Paul Sr. and Louise Smith; brother, Jimmy Smith; and nephew, Travis Smith.

She is survived by her two sons, Micky (Alli) Pope and Marty (Lisa) Pope both of Bardstown; sister, Ann (Harold) Logsdon of Peach Tree City, GA; two brothers, Bill (Connie) Smith and Joe (Susan) Smith both of Springfield; sister-in-law, Catherine (Leo) McIntire of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be 12 pm Friday February 21, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 am to 12pm Friday February 21 at Barlow Funeral Home.
