John William Bradley, Jr., of Tatum Springs, KY, passed away at his home on May 26th, 2026. He was 75 years old.
Born on April 3, 1951, in Louisville KY, John spent his childhood in Greenbrier, KY. He later raised his family while operating a small cattle and tobacco farm in Bloomfield, KY. He also worked for 44 years at Heaven Hill Distillery, retiring after a long and dedicated career.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Georgia (Auberry) Bradley, and his sister, Diane Bradley (Tommy) Johnson.
John is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy Sympson Bradley; his daughter, Erica Bradley; his son, Trey Bradley (Amanda); and four cherished grandchildren, Jonah, London, Jack, and Madelyn. His sister, Gayla Clark (Larry); his brothers, Andy Bradley (Lori) and Dean Bradley (Toya); his cousin and lifelong best friend, Kelvin Bradley (Pam).
John deeply loved his family, farming, and the outdoors. He found great joy along the river, hunting, and fishing. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, quiet strength, and the pride he took in providing for his loved ones.
The family invites all who knew and loved John to join them in celebrating his life. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Donate Life Kentucky Trust.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th from 4pm to 8pm with a prayer service at 5:30 pm and Saturday, May 30th, from 9am to 10:30am at Barlow Funeral Home. The family invites relatives and friends to join them at St. Joseph Catholic School Cafeteria immediately following visitation on Saturday at 10:30 am for a bereavement meal. Burial will take place at 2:30 pm Saturday at St. Thomas Cemetery.
