Janet Lewis

Janet Lewis, 67, of Willisburg, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023. She was born September 9, 1956, enjoyed listening to music, watching hummingbirds, gardening, and baking. She loved playing games with her family and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Lewis; parents, Sue Anna and Guthrie Smith; three brothers, Jerry Smith, Clifton Smith, and Bernard A. "Slick" Smith; two sisters, Carolyn Smith, and Judy Smith. 

She is survived by her three daughters, Andrea Smith of Willisburg, Ginger (Ted) Schott of Louisville, and Dana (Russell) Milburn of Willisburg; five granddaughters, Ashley Griffeth, Kelsey Boblitt, Sarah Helms, Anna Blaisdell, and Rikki Hatchett; one grandson, Tyler Boblitt; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Roy Smith; two sister-in-laws, Cathy Smith and Ophie Nalley; and several nieces and nephews. 

Her funeral service will be 11 am Thursday November 9, 2023 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Highview Cemetery in Chaplin. Visitation will be 3-8 pm Wednesday November 8, 2023 and 9 - 11 am Thursday November 9, 2023, at Barlow Funeral Home. 

Pallbearers are; Tyler Boblitt, Landyn Boblitt, Jacob Hood, Zachary Morris, Cody Staples and Scotty Fulkerson. Honorary Pallbearers are; Eli Hood, Aubree Hood, Eliza Griffeth, Adrian Helms, Ethan Helms, Shelby Hatchett, and Owen Hatchett

Memorial contributions may go to American Diabetes Association or National Kidney Foundation.
