Jackie Hambleton

Jackie Hambleton, 87, of Bardstown, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Signature Colonial Healthcare. She was born December 13, 1938 in Camden, New Jersey, and was a retired house cleaner.

She was a member of Bardstown Ladies Garden Club, Old KY Home Homemakers Organization, a life member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William K. "Bill" Hambleton; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Bakley; and parents, Bertha and Ed Thompson.

She is survived by a son, Donald Joseph Ward; grandson, Michael Thomas Kuras; and great-grandson, Gabriel William Kuras.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 6 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1331 Templin Ave, Bardstown, KY 40004. A private burial will be held at a later date at Lebanon National Cemetery.
