J.R. Breeding

J.R. Breeding, 75, of Bardstown passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Norton Audubon Hospital.

He was born July 8, 1945 in Whitesburg, and was a truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Allie Breeding; brothers, John L. Breeding, Dennie Breeding, and Bill Breeding; and sister, Allie Deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Breeding of Bardstown; five children, Mike (Diane) Breeding of Cox’s Creek, Shannon Satterly of Cox’s Creek, Pam (Michael) Moore of Huntsville, AL, David (Tamera) Clark of Terre Haute, IN, and Donna (Doug) Lane of Mt. Washington; fourteen grandchildren, Amelia, Stephanie, Caleb, Sara, Christopher, Josh, Jonathon, Ashley, Cameron, Rebecca, Andrew, Drew, Shelby, and Cody; five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Ronan, Colton, Jake, and Luca; and two brothers, Bobby Breeding of WV, and Ernest (Kay) Breeding of Campbellsville.

His service will be 11:00 am Monday December 28, 2020 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 pm – 5 pm Sunday December 27 and 9 am – 11 am Monday December 28 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
