Obituary
Frankie Newton Jr., 53, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday March 25, 2023 at his residence. He was born September 27, 1969 in Bardstown, and worked for Metalsa as a Weld Tech. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and going on road trips, fixing things and gambling. He also enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Lee "Peggy" Ballard; sister, Amy Newton; father-in-law, Leon Spalding; and sister-in-law, Ginny Spalding.
He is survived by his wife Cathy Newton; son, Jonathan (Linsey) Newton of Cox's Creek; daughter, Courtney (Neal) Ralston of Bardstown; six grandchildren, Kayelyn, Ellie, Barrett, Emily, Carson, and Tucker; father, Francis "Ruben" Newton of Cox's Creek; nieces and nephews, Camille Goodman, Victoria Watson, and Ian Watson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His funeral service will be 11 am Wednesday March 29, 2023 at Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Bro. Ray Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be 3 pm to 8 pm Tuesday March 28 and 9 am to 11 am Wednesday March 29 at Barlow Funeral Home.
