Frances Edelen Obituary

Frances Kateri “Teri” Edelen, 66 of Bardstown, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Norton’s Brownsboro Hospital. She was born on September 5, 1952 in Lebanon. She work at a nurse for over 40 years most recently for Active Day, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and she lived and adored her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Hillman “Fuzzy” and Mary Gertrude Mudd Blanford.

She is survived by her son, Stuart Edelen of Bardstown; daughter, Joy Edelen Martin (Mike) of Louisville; four grandsons, Brennen Edelen, Camren Martin, Luke Martin, and Mason Martin; two brothers, Jerry Blanford, Pat Blanford; sister, Dianne Bleemell all of Bardstown; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto Cathedral with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Terry Bradshaw will officiate. Visitation will be 3 till 8 pm Wednesday, December 5, 2018 and 9 till 10:15 am Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to Masses or Donor’s Favorite Charity.
