Denise M. Hardin Kerr

Denise M. Hardin Kerr, 61, of Bardstown passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Flaget Memorial Hospital.  She was born on March 11, 1959 in Bardstown, a 1976 graduate of Bardstown High School, graduate of Sullivan University, a devout employee of Kentucky Farm Bureau for more than twenty years, and loved reading, gardening, and most of all her grandson and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Rick” Kerr on August 30, 2012; parents, Joe and Mary Catherine Hardin; and a brother, Don Hardin.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Kerr and Tiffany Kerr both of Bardstown; grandson, Braxton Kerr; two sisters, Barbara (Jack) Brown of Americus, Georgia and Genie Dennis of Bardstown; brother, Gerry (Susan) Hardin of Bardstown; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and mother-in-law, Traude Kerr of Louisville.

Her funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 8, 2021 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial in Bardstown Cemetery.  Art Hardin and Phillip Parrott will be officiating.  Visitation will be from 10 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 8, 2021 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and Bread of Life Community Food Pantry of Bardstown.

A celebration of life will be at Scout and Scholar Brewery following the burial.
