Debbie Cissell, 63, of Cox’s Creek, passed away Friday September 24, 2021 at her residence. She was born May 29, 1958 in Nelson County, retired from American Greetings, a piano teacher for many years, and of the Methodist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hark and Ruby Parrish; three sisters, Barbara Cheatham, Helen Gritton, and Mary Joyce Parrish; and brother, Everett Parrish.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Keith Cissell of Cox’s Creek; son, Matt (Mariya) Cissell of Milton, Georgia; daughter, Ashley (Jonathan) Tatman of Concord, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Liam Cissell, and Peyton Tatman; three sisters, Kathleen Pile of Woodlawn, Betty Hill of Bardstown, and Sue Parrish of Woodlawn; and several nieces and nephews.
Her memorial service will be 7:00 pm Thursday September 30, 2021 at Barlow Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Pile will officiate. Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm Thursday September 30 at Barlow Funeral Home.
