David G. Pare

David G. Pare, 76, of Springfield, passed away Monday, January 20,
2025, at home surrounded by his children.  He was born Sept. 22, 1948,
in Michigan.
   He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 33 years, and moved to
Kentucky with his late wife.  He enjoyed the great outdoors.  He loved
hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.  He was also an action
and war movie enthusiast. He enjoyed attending the regional live plays
and musical performances.  David was an Army veteran.
   He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie J Pare;
his mother, Fern Betty Pare; his father, George Oscar Pare; and his brother
Donald Pare.
   He is survived by a son, Ronald Pare; a daughter Lisa Romano; a
granddaughter, Vanessa Romano; his sisters Beverley (Norm) Black, Nancy
(Rodger) Best, Cindy Diiacovo, Kathy (Jim) Tomaszycki, Sandy (Steve) McKim.
   His memorial service, followed by military honors, will be at a
later date in his birth state of Michigan.
