Cindy Nutgrass Bartley, 73, of Bloomfield, passed away, Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Baptist Health in Louisville. She was born on December 22, 1947 in Lebanon, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She baby-sat for many years and impacted many of those kids, and she was known to them as Mrs. Cindy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Leslie “Junior” Bartley Jr.; daughter, Lori Ann Bartley Keeling; granddaughter, Brittany Bartley; parents, Jesse and Sylvia Nutgrass; step-father, Henry Butts; brother, Andy Nutgrass; and sister, Brenda Meyers.
She is survived by four sons, Jody Bartley of Bloomfield, Steve (Radonna) Bartley of Bardstown, Gary (Jenny) Bartley of Lebanon, and Matthew Bartley of Bloomfield; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanie Gatti of Mt. Washington and Rosemary Witt of Fern Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto Cathedral with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Terry Bradshaw will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 till 8 P.M. Monday, January 4, 2021 and 9 till 10:15 A.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Barlow Funeral Home.
