Charles Edward "Eddie" Litsey

Charles Edward “Eddie” Litsey, 76, of Bardstown, passed away Sunday September 12, 2021 at Flaget Memorial Hospital.  He was born August 14, 1945 in Bardstown, former employee for the Old Talbott Tavern in his early years, retired from Wilson Brothers, coached softball and football for many years, loved U of L Sports, and his family.

He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Litsey; parents, George and Leona Litsey; four brothers, William, Joe, Leo, and Dennis Litsey; and three sisters, Josephine Ferguson, Georganna Litsey, and Louise Avery.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Litsey of Louisville; son, Carlos (April) Litsey of Lebanon; three daughters, Tracy Litsey, and Jessica Litsey both of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Monica Litsey of Louisville; host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and special friend, Lori New of Bardstown.

His funeral service will be 12:00 pm Friday September 17, 2021 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10 – 12 pm Friday September 17 at Barlow Funeral Home.
