Cassandra Jones Obituary

Cassandra Lee Travis Jones, 67, of Bardstown, passed away Sunday December 2, 2018 at her son’s residence in Hodgenville. She was born July 24, 1951 in Bardstown, and a member of The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Ray Travis; and two brothers, Clifford Scott Travis and Paul Travis.

She is survived by her two sons, Danny Ray (Anna Pruitt) Travis of Hodgenville, and Matthew Perry (Laura) Jones of Bardstown; daughter, Alicia Leigh (Brian) Rice of Sophia, North Carolina; mother, Thelma Travis of Lebanon Junction; three brothers, Andrew Ray Travis, Patrick Travis, and Stuart Travis all of Lebanon Junction; three sisters, Amy Flowers of Denver, Colorado, Valeria Fisher of Elkton, and Cynthia Travis of Bardstown; and eight grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday December 7, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in The First Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Sam Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm Thursday December 6 and 9 – 11 am Friday December 7 at Barlow Funeral Home.
