Betty Jane Wolf

Betty Jane Wolf, 85, of Bardstown, passed away Tuesday September 5, 2023 at her daughters residence. She was born January 9, 1938 in Croak Station. She retired from Nu Kote after 27 years, and was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Maggie Blacketer; five sisters, Louise Sutton, Ruby Crume, Edith Tabb, Dorothy Gilley, and Kathy Mullins; brother, Kenneth Blacketer; and long time friend, Bernard William Wolf Sr.

She is survived by three children; Cheryl Wolf of New Haven, Bill (Melanie Spalding) Wolf Jr. of Bardstown, and Kathy (Jay Wimsett) Wolf of New Haven; four grandchildren, Shelbe Wolf, Jared Wolf, Clinton Wimsett, and Miranda McDonald; four great-grandchildren, Greyson, Nicholas, Noah, and Maxwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be 5 pm Saturday September 9, 2023 at Barlow Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 pm to 7 pm Saturday September 9 at Barlow Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Noon Saturday September 16, 2023 at St. Joseph Cemetery.
