Bernice Parker Obituary

Bernice Druen Parker, 94, of Bardstown, passed away Friday November 30, 2018 at her residence. She was born July 31, 1924 in Hart County, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a member of Bardstown Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, James A. “Jim” Parker; and three sisters, Delsie Druen, Lillian Skaggs, and Goldie Burba.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Parker of Bardstown; son, Mike Parker of Napa, California; daughter, Beckie (Ken) Hatfield of Bardstown; granddaughter, Sarah Hatfield; three grandsons, Jeremy Parker, Noah Parker, and Logan Parker; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 am Monday December 3, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home, with a private burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Dr. Randal Pollock will officiate. Visitation will be Noon – 4 pm Sunday December 2 and 9 – 11 am Monday December 3 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to Bardstown Baptist Church.
