Arthur David "Buddy" Pugh

Arthur David “Buddy” Pugh, 78, of Cox’s Creek, passed away Tuesday October 12, 2021 at Norton Hospital in Louisville.  He was born February 1, 1943 in Bullitt County, member of Masonic Duvall Lodge # 6, and Vine Hill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gale Pugh; grandson, William David Pugh; parents, and six siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Pugh; five children, Steven (Debi) Pugh, Ronnie (Sandy) Pugh all of Cox’s Creek, Michael (Nancy) Pugh of Bardstown, Robin (Shaun) Newton of Loretto, and Jimmy Sinclair of Cox’s Creek; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Walton of Mt. Sterling; special nephew, Jody (Patsy) Hodge of Richmond; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 12:00 pm Saturday October 16, 2021 at New Salem Baptist Church, with burial in New Salem Baptist Cemetery.  Brother Greg Crenshaw will officiate.  Visitation will be 3 – 8 pm Friday October 15 and 10 – 12 pm Saturday October 16 at New Salem Baptist Church.
