Arlene Haynes, 86, of Bardstown, passed away Thursday may 1, 2025 at Sanders Ridge Health Campus in Mt. Washington. She was born June 3, 1938 in Evansville, Indiana, and a member of New Highland Baptist Church in Brandenburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Ray Haynes; parents, Marion and Flaude Farley; and Sister, Johanna Edwards.
She is survived by her four children, Ray Haynes, Kelvin (Sandy) Haynes, Lisa (Ken) Harbert, and Greg (Angela) Haynes; nine grandchildren, Phillip Haynes, Rebecca Edelen, Stephen Haynes, Kristina Mentzer, Wesley Polston, Stephanie Haynes, David Haynes, Allison Haynes, and Elizabeth Haynes; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Gary) Pleas; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be 7:30 pm Wednesday May 7, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home. Rev. Rodney Lynch will officiate. Visitation will be 5 - 8 pm Wednesday May 7 at Barlow Funeral Home. Her graveside service will be 10:30 am Thursday May 8, 2025 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
