Anthony Lee Rogers, 87, of Balltown, passed away Sunday August 24, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 2, 1937 in Balltown, retired from Heaven Hill Distillery with 42 years of service, United States Army Reserves Veteran, a devout Catholic and member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. He loved University of Kentucky football and basketball, a Nascar fan, loved his grandchildren and children, and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Clara Jean Rogers; son, Mark Anthony Rogers in 1990; granddaughter, Nikki Adams; great-grandchild, Kingston; parents, Roy and May Corrine Rogers; five brothers, Earl Rogers, Roy Rogers Jr., Bobby Rogers, Frankie Rogers, and Johnny Rogers; and sister, Anna Faye Wilhite.
He is survived by his three daughters, Angela (Rick) Greer of Bloomfield, Lisa (Denny Rose) Lewis of Bardstown, and Melissa (Tommy) Cecil of Balltown; son, Ronnie Rogers of Balltown; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Thursday August 28, 2025 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, with burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Rev. Brandon DeToma will officiate. Visitation will be 3 - 8 pm Wednesday August 27, 2025 and 8 - 9:15 am Thursday August 28, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service will be 5:30 pm Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County.
