Anna "Bea" Snellen, 92, of Cox's Creek, passed away Saturday May 4, 2024 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born October 24, 1931 in Spencer County, retired from Jim Beam Distillery, and a member of St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Paul Snellen; son, Monte Snellen; grandson, Randy Pinkston; parents, Roger and Thelma Biven; brother, Tommy Biven; and son-in-law, Robert Quelle.
She is survived by her four children, Roger Dale (Arlene) Snellen of New Haven, Anita Belinda Quelle of Cincinnati, Ohio, Verna (Robert) Guthrie of Big Clifty, Kentucky, and Karen (Rudy) Pinkston of Cox's Creek; nine grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; brother, James Biven of Cox's Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday May 11, 2024 at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Kien Nguyen will officiate. Visitation will be 3 - 8 pm Friday May 10 and 8:30 - 9:15 am Saturday May 11 at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held Friday evening.
Memorial contributions may go to St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church or Alzheimer's Association.
