Ann Dierker Richter, 70, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday April 26, 2025 at Baptist Health Louisville. She was born August 6, 1954 in Fort Madison, Iowa. She loved dogs, and was a dog trainer for many years, especially working with golden retrievers for duck hunting. She loved her family and friends, especially her daughter and grandchildren. She was a devout catholic, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. LeRoy and Carrie Dierker; two sisters, Carol Herbert, and Lee Heaton O'Malley; two brothers, Richard Dierker, and Dr. Bernard Dierker.
She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Evans, of Bardstown; two brothers, Dr. LeRoy (Carrie) Dierker, of Cleveland, Ohio, and James (Cathy) Dierker, of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Ashton Evans and Audrey Evans, both of Bardstown; and many nieces and nephews.
Her memorial service will be 7 pm Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3 pm - 8 pm Thursday, May 1 at Barlow Funeral Home.
Memorial Contributions may go to the Humane Society of Nelson County.
