William R. “Bobby” King Jr., 69, of Cox’s Creek died Friday, December 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 26, 1948 in Nelson County. He was a farmer and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Irene King.
He is survived by two daughter, Mary Kay King (Woody Spalding) and Amanda King (Brett Flamion) both of Bardstown; five grandchildren, Kristen N. Kirsch of Louisville, Austin T. Kirsch of Lexington, Isabella I. King, Olivia K. King and Lincoln A. King all of Bardstown; three sisters, Carolyn Hurd, Suzanne DeWitt and Nancy King all of Cox’s Creek.
His memorial service will be at 11:00 am Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto Cathedral with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Terry Bradshaw will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto Cathedral.
