Robert Raisor Obituary

Robert “Bob” Raisor, 69, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday August 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 21, 1948 in New Castle, Indiana, retired self-employed home improvement worker, United States Army Veteran, member of Bardstown Art Gallery, enjoyed playing music with his friends and loved his family dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Matilda Raisor; and brother, Ricky Raisor.

He is survived by his wife, Freida Raisor of Bardstown; three children, James Raisor of Hodgenville, Dawn Dalton of Bardstown, and Robert Raisor of Elizabethtown; two step-children, Tim Rice of Benton, and Beth Mattingly of Bardstown; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five siblings, John Raisor of Pendleton, Betty Simpson of Elizabethtown, Patty Turpin of Hodgenville, Shirley Shelburne of Nebraska, and Donna Dailey of Elizabethtown; and several nieces and nephews.

His memorial service will be 3:00 pm Sunday September 2, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 – 3 pm Sunday September 2 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to Hospice of Nelson County.
