Rev. T.E. Johnson Obituary

Reverend T.E Johnson, 91, of Bardstown, native of Richmond, passed away Monday August 13, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1927 in Fayette County; he was a minister for the 2nd Baptist Church of Bloomfield, and First Baptist Church of Bardstown. A WWII Veteran, member of the American Legion, Masonic Euclid Lodge #13 of Bardstown, on the Foster Care Review Board, Nelson Co. Fair Board, Rotary Club and Louisville Twilight Ministers and Deacons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jasper Johnson and Imogene Johnson; daughter, Chico Johnson; grandchildren, Jonathon Edward Johnson, Ezra Gerald Smith IV; brother, Andrew T. Johnson; and sister-in-law, Bessie Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Jean Johnson; four children, Belzora (Joseph) Scott of Louisville, Waymer Keith (Elaine) Johnson, Shauntia Primus, Enriquez Primus all three of Bardstown; thirteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday August 18, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home with private burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Rev. Joseph Marshall will officiate. Visitation will be 11 am to 1 pm at Barlow Funeral Home Saturday August 18, 2018.
