Ralph Diaz, 63, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday March 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 24, 1954 in Huandacareo, Mexico, a self-employed of Ralph’s Tax Service since 1978, member of Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph’s Men’s Club, St. Joseph Bereavement Team, and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alejandro and Catalina Diaz.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Forsee Diaz; three step-sons, Jerry Lear, Jeff (Beth) Lear, and Joe (Serena) Lear; son, Jason (Hannah) Diaz all of Bardstown; eleven grandchildren, Emily Lear, Amelia Hensley, Helena Lear, Adam Lear, Olivia Lear, Evelyn Lear, J.D. Lear, Savannah Lear, Sammy Diaz, Raquel Diaz, and Shane Diaz; six great-grandchildren, Lilly Nickles, Leo Nickles, Sadie Miller, Sawyer Miller, Lyla Hensley, and Ellis Hensley; 10 siblings, Alfonso (Concheta) Diaz of Coal City, Illinois, Anita (Juan) Patino of North Hills, California, Onnie (Alice) Diaz of Newton, Illinois, Maria Bybee of Braidwood, Illinois, John Diaz of Joliet, Illinois, Theresa (Rafael) Zamudio of New Lennox, Illinois, Gloria (Romeo) Zamudio of Joliet, Illinois, Frank (Mary) Diaz of Joliet, Illinois, Bob (Theresa) Diaz of Channahon, Illinois, and Lusie (Paul) Raab of Ingleside, Illinois.
His memorial mass will be 1:00 pm Tuesday March 6, 2018 at Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral. Rev. Terry Bradshaw will officiate. Visitation will be 9 to 12:15 pm Tuesday March 6, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home.
