Paul Spalding

Paul Spalding, 72, of Bardstown, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Landmark of Bardstown.  He was born on January 25, 1947 in Washington County, worked at Lowe’s, member of Local 89, member of Mill Creek Baptist Church and Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and he loved mowing grass, and his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ginny Spalding; parents, Catherine and Paul Spalding; 3 brothers, Donnie Lee Spalding, Douglas Spalding and Ernie Spalding; and five sisters, Ruth, Martina, Shirley, Rita, and Dana.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Spalding; three children, Cathy Newton, Joseph “Joe” Paul Spalding, and Janice Spalding; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Courtney, Victoria, and Ian; four great-grandchildren, Kayelyn, Ellie, Barrett, and Emily; three brothers, Bernard Spalding, Jerry Spalding, and Louis Spalding; three sisters, Lynda Marks, JoAnn Gribbins, and Bonnie Fogt; and loving nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Barlow Funeral Home.  Bro. Danny Haynes will be officiating.  Visitation will be from 4 till 8 P.M. Friday, December 27, 2019 and 9 till 11 A.M. Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Barlow Funeral Home.
