Loretta Young Obituary

Loretta Young, 58, of Bardstown, passed away Thursday May 31, 2018 at her residence. She was born April 17, 1960 in Fairfield, and a member of Second Baptist Church of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bernice Young; and two brothers, Joseph Young, and Robert Young.

She is survived by her son, Phillip Wayne (Ziggy) Young of Bardstown; six grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Young of Louisville, Patricia (Rev. Godfrey) Kaufman, and Cheryl Young both of Bardstown; three brothers, Gary Young of Lexington, Stevie Young of Louisville, and Monte (Angie) Young of Bardstown; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be Noon Monday June 4, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery. Rev. Godfrey Kaufman will officiate. Visitation will be 10 am to Noon Monday June 4 at Barlow Funeral Home.
