Jerry N. Hardin

Jerry N. Hardin, 72, of Cox’s Creek, passed away Sunday January 7, 2018 at Signature Health Care.  He was born April 6, 1945 in Washington County.  He retired after working 32 years at Bardstown Quarry, and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his infant grandson; parents, William Garland and Margie Jane Lewis Hardin; brother, James Marshall Hardin; sister, Audrey Louise Foster; and brother-in-law, Leon Foster.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Stella Frances Wilson Hardin of Cox’s Creek; children, Jerry B. Hardin of Bloomfield, Tammy (J.T.) Fulkerson of Cox’s Creek, and Rhonda (Mark) Greenwell of Bardstown; sister, Christine Foster of Louisville; five grandchildren, Trey Fulkerson of Cox’s Creek, Kimberly (Kory) Chasteen, Brandon Lee Greenwell, Kaleb and Cheyenne Hardin all four of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in Benningfield Cemetery in Marion County.  Brother Darrell Goodlett will officiate.  Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Tuesday January 9 and 9 to 11 am Wednesday January 10 at Barlow Funeral Home.  

Memorial contributions may go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
