Gail Brown Obituary

Gail Smith Brown, 53, of Bardstown, passed away Friday November 8, 2019 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. She was born January 16, 1966 in Nelson County, retired from Nelson County Clerk’s office after 31 years, team member for Relay For Life, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Lee and Mary Catherine Smith; and mother-in-law, Barbara Brown.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Rob Brown; two sons, Josh (Bre) Brown, and Derek Brown all of Bardstown; granddaughter, Sophia Brown; eight brothers, Father Tony Smith, Arthur Smith, Bill Smith, Gary Smith, Jimmy Smith, Mike Smith, Robbie Smith, and Eddie Smith; four sisters, Wanda Parker, Theresa Ice, Mary Helen Ryan, and Sheila Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.

Her visitation will be 3 – 6 pm Monday November 11, 2019 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to Relay For Life.
