Clara Diane Spalding

Clara Diane Spalding, 75, of Bardstown, passed away Wednesday March 6, 2024 at her residence. She was born April 27, 1948 in Washington County, and was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

She enjoyed gambling, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Spalding; daughter, Ginny Spalding; parents, Sam and Sara Miller; son-in-law, Frankie Newton; and brothers, sisters, and in-laws.

She is survived by her three children, Cathy Newton, Joseph "Joe" Paul Spalding, and Janice Spalding; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Courtney, Victoria, and Ian; six great-grandchildren, Kayelyn, Ellie, Barrett, Emily, Carson, and Tucker; two sisters, Nancy Settles and Jewell Reynolds; and special friend, Karen Marshall.

Her funeral service will be 11 am Saturday March 9, 2024 at Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Bro. Ray Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be 3 pm to 8 pm Friday March 8 and 9 am to 11 am Saturday March 9 at Barlow Funeral Home.
