Troy Williams, 52, of Bardstown, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Jewish Hospital. He was born January 28, 1966 in Bardstown. He drove for Active Day and Bourbon City Taxi, formerly worked for Toyota, a member of St. John A.M.E. Zion Church, played the trumpet for the Nelson County High School, and a diehard Louisville Cardinal Fan.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Williams; two brothers, Arthur Ray Williams and Terry Williams.
He is survived by his daughter, Celeste (Leo) Dominguez; two grandchildren, Lathan Dominguez and Gissell Dominguez; father, Horace Churchill all of Springfield; five brother and sisters, Calvin (Jinny) Williams of Springfield, Toni (Michael) Williams, Joyce (William) Williams both of Bardstown, Janet (Marvin) Graves of Bloomfield, and Amonda (Steven) Riley of Bardstown; host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Julia Smalley of Bardstown.
His funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at St. John’s A.M.E. Zion Church with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery. Rev. Roscoe Linton will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 till 8 pm Monday, April 9, 2017 and 9 am till 1 pm Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at St. John A.M.E. Zion Church.
